Win an Innovation Prize (Up to $2,500) for Your Classroom at the LEAP InnovatED Summit!

Do you have a personalized learning project you’d like to launch in the

2018-2019 school year, but need the funds to make it truly amazing?

From July 16 - August 17, 2018, LEAP InnovatED Summit registrants are invited to create a project on DonorsChoose.org—the #1 classroom funding site for teachers—that supports personalized learning in their classroom. All projects labeled with the LEAP Personalized Learning Challenge phrase will be eligible to receive an Innovation Prize!

How it Works:

Step 1: If you have not already registered for the LEAP InnovatED Summit, you will need to register before going on to the next step.

Step 2: Log on to DonorsChoose.org between July 16 and August 17 and submit a project that supports your personalized learning vision for the 2018-2019 school year (up to $2,500 may be awarded per project).

Step 3: Attend the LEAP InnovatED Summit on August 28 to find out if your proposal has been selected and funded by one of our generous donors.

Selection Criteria:

  • To qualify, projects must have the phrase "LEAP Personalized Learning Challenge" in the essay.

  • Projects must clearly support a vision for personalized learning implementation. Winning proposals will be those that:

    • Advance learning led by the student

    • Support multiple and innovative ways students can demonstrate mastery over material

    • Enable learning that is focused on the learner

    • Promote pathways and build relationships that connect learning to the learner

  • Projects must be posted to DonorsChoose.org (not just submitted) during the duration of the challenge period (July 16 - August 17).

Sample projects can include support for flexible seating, technology or professional development. For more information on personalized learning, please explore the LEAP Learning Framework.
